September is Hunger Action Month, and we are partnering with Five Rivers MetroParks to eliminate hunger in the Miami Valley. Help raise awareness and support the cause by bringing non-perishable food to 2nd Street Market. All items collected will benefit The Foodbank and its network of partner agencies. For our Back-to-School edition, we ask participants to include easy-open items suitable for young school children. Donations will be collected at 2nd Street Market throughout the month of September.
The Foodbank or its partner agencies will be present every Saturday to answer questions and talk about their hunger-relief efforts.
