Food Procurement Sourcing Specialist

The Food Procurement Sourcing Specialist is responsible for executing the overall strategy across purchased/allocated channels to maintain a consistent supply and variety of nutritious food for distribution and programs. Further responsibilities involve identifying and managing vendors, including the Feeding America Choice Ordering Systems, USDA, and sourcing through the Ohio Association of Foodbanks (OAF) and/or directly through growers.

Shipping and Receiving Support

This position supports all aspects of shipping and receiving in The Foodbank’s warehouse facility, including inventory receipting and locating in Ceres. Also supports general warehouse operations and facilities maintenance.

Program Support Driver

This full-time position must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to be insured under The Foodbank’s vehicle insurance policy. This position will work with the Programs Team to deliver and distribute food off-site at Mobile Farmer’s Market locations. This position requires outdoor work in all temperatures.

Warehouse Driver

This position will support the heart of The Foodbank’s mission, which is the daily acquisition and distribution of food. Duties include pulling orders, building and staging skids in our warehouse, and loading orders for agency pickup. Also involves driving a box truck to pick up and deliver goods, receipting and distributing all goods received by and distributed from The Foodbank, along with general warehouse operations and facilities maintenance. The ideal candidate must value diversity, be comfortable working within an energetic and diverse team, and enjoy a fast-paced work environment. Training will be provided on the job; a valid driver’s license and being commercially insurable is required.
